Project Manager – EVSE & Turnkey Energy Projects (Full-time – NYC)


The Project Management team at INF manages construction, contractors, and partners,
administers RFPs, manages contracts, and maintains close communication with project owners.
The core function of the Project Manager is to manage subcontractors and construction teams
during installation of their assigned project to ensure construction is completed as planned and
on-schedule. They will spend time in both the INF offices and serve as an authority on-site as
required. The applicant must have proven experience managing construction projects and
contractors and be a well-rounded team player with strong organizational and communication
skills.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Support the sales and design team through preliminary design and design development
      through coordination with subcontractors, partners, and vendors.
    • Manage detailed RFP processes to bid projects.
    • Participate in Final Design Reviews and lead Construction Kick-off Meetings.
    • Develop and distribute construction packages which include:
      • Summary and notifications on project process to owner.
      • Owner notifications.
      • Detailed communication protocol instructions.
      • INF health and safety plan.
      • Complete project scope.
      • Equipment documentation.
      • Sign-off documents
    • Fully manage construction from kick-off to close-out and transitioning the project back
      to the business development associate for post-sale activities. During construction,
      observe progress on-site, manage subcontractors, maintain periodic communication
      with project owner, and address any issues.
    • Maintain fully accurate and complete project files and documentation.
    • Contribute toward the continued development of tools, templates, and resources for
      Project Management team.
    • Manage relationships with contractors.
    • Fully organize and manage the execution of installation and construction of turnkey
      projects, while communicating with the team and owner each step of the way.
    • Support the project accounting and billing processes.
    • Ensure on-time delivery of high quality, detailed, error-free products.

    Experience Requirements:

    • Knowledge of Electrical/EV charging supply equipment
    • Knowledge of mechanical equipment, building commissioning, and equipment retrofit
      principles a plus.
    • Proven experience working with contractors and managing installation groups through
      construction.
    • Proven experience with construction phasing, scheduling (software), and resource
      management.
    • Experience with client relationship management a plus.
    • Knowledge of construction codes and principles.
    • Electrician/Electrical Engineering experience a plus.
    • Knowledge of utility incentive programs and equipment qualification requirements.

    Skills Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in the engineering or construction field AND 2+ years of experience in

    • OSHA trained/certified preferred

Manager of Sales / Director of Sales (Full-time, NYC)



The Sales team at INF supports the business development, partner management, contractual
discussions, revenue tracking, sales targeting, and minor marketing functions across the
organization.

Depending on experience and qualifications, the Manager or Director of Sales role will entail
complete management of the Sales team for the electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE)
department (85%), Energy Solutions department (10%), and Lighting Solutions department
(5%). They will develop and maintain all tools, resources, departmental tracking, financial
reporting, strategic planning, and sales employee support for the team. They will also shadow
all sales staff on business dealings for training and development of staff. The applicant must
have substantial experience managing the complete sales process in an
engineering/construction/contracting business. They must be a well-rounded team player with
strong organizational, communication, and software skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop/maintain a CRM (Monday.com) tracking system with clear, detailed steps as
    required for each sales employee to understand the process and execute.   Manage 8+
    sales staff to ensure they’re maintaining a steady project pipeline and managing project.
    files/documentation correctly.
  • Develop/maintain project tools, templates, and documents and track their use and
    execution:

    • Meeting minute documentation.
    • Proposals.
    • Project Plans.
    • Project billing and Accounting.
  • Set sales revenue targets and tracking systems, and report to leadership periodically.
  • Support the navigation and management (of the dedicated sales employee) the sales
    process from prospecting, to lead and opportunity development.
  • Work in conjunction with design and project management teams through the design
    phase to construction through planning, scheduling, and tracking projects.
  • Strategize with marketing on industry events and/or conferences.
  • Ensure the team is executing to a high standard of quality.
  • Develop training and guidance for continuous improvement of the team’s sales work.

Experience Requirements:

  • Required – sales of Electrical/EV charging supply equipment.
  • Preferred – sales of mechanical equipment, commissioning, and equipment retrofit
    principles for commercial and multi-family residential buildings in NYC.
  • Direct management of a 5+ person sales team, supporting them with all aspects of their
    work as well as career development, to scale the sales team.
  • Establishing, tracking, and reporting on sales revenue targets and other financial
    metrics.
  • Managing relationships with contractors, engineers, manufacturers, vendors, etc. ing
  • Knowledge of construction/energy codes, Local Laws, and EVSE policy.
  • Knowledge of utility incentive programs and equipment qualification requirements.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience in sales with financial
    acumen.

Manager of Project Management / Director of Project Management (Full-time, NYC)


The Project Management team at INF manages construction, contractors, and partners,
administers RFPs, manages contracts, and maintains close communication with project owners.
Based on experience and qualifications, the Manager or Director of Project Management role
will entail complete management of the Project Management team. They will develop and
maintain all tools, resources, departmental tracking, financial reporting, and Project
Management employee support for the team. They will also shadow and visit project sites to
ensure that the Project Manager is performing the work correctly and any issues are quickly
addressed in a professional manager to ensure the project is delivered to a high standard of
quality. The applicant must have substantial experience managing construction projects and
contractors and be a well-rounded team player with strong organizational and communication
skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop/maintain a project tracking system with clear, detailed steps as required for
    each PM to understand the process and execute. Manage 6-8 Project Managers to
    ensure they’re maintaining a steady project pipeline and managing project.

Project Manager, Lighting Solutions (Full-time, NYC)



INF’s Lighting Department surveys, designs, and installs LED retrofit solutions in commercial and
multi-family residential buildings. This position requires strong organizational and
communication skills, ability to travel to various project sites throughout the New York City
area, proven technical abilities in LED lighting, and an ambitious personality in a fast-growing
firm. The Project Manager will work with premier companies and real estate portfolios in
Manhattan, guiding clients through project development of lighting upgrade solutions and installation.

Job Responsibilities:

      • Audit/Survey – Reference existing building documents to perform site assessments and
        identify: luminaire locations, existing fixture types, lamp types, quantities, mounting
        positions, existing controls and existing wall switch/control features.
      • File and record all data in an organized manner. Input complete and fully accurate data
        collected from site into lighting tool via Microsoft Excel.
      • Manage or support final design meetings and construction kick-off meetings, stepping
        through all details of a project with the appropriate stakeholders.
      • Develop and finalize construction packages for each project:
        • Summary and notifications on project process to owner.

Experience Requirements:

        application.
      • Experience coordinating with lighting equipment manufacturers and vendors for

Accounting Clerk (PT/FT) ( Newburgh, NY)

The position requires basic bookkeeping, strong organizational and communication skills, and
an ambitious personality to keep up with this fast-growing firm.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions related to
    accounts receivable.
  • Create invoices according to company practices and submit to customers.
  • Maintain and update customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or
    mailing, correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections
  • Identify delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contact delinquent account holders
    to request payment.
  • Collaborate with accounting staff to reconcile accounts receivable on a periodic (at least
    bimonthly).
  • Facilitate payment to vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers &
    certificates of insurance, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.
